Your questions, answered – so you know exactly what’s coming.

Whether it's your first website or your fifth redesign, starting a new web project can feel like a big step. At iPOP, we like to keep things smooth, straightforward, and maybe even a little bit fun – after all, it should be one of the exciting parts of building your business.

Each of our projects starts with clear communication and a shared understanding of what’s involved. So, here’s a breakdown of the questions we hear most – and what you can expect when you work with us.

What do you need from me to get started?

Good question – and one that sets the tone for everything that follows.

To kick things off, we’ll want to get a solid understanding of your business, your audience, and your goals. The more insight you can give us upfront, the better. Things like:

  • A summary of what you do and why you do it
  • Who your main audience is (and who you’d like it to be)
  • Your brand values and tone of voice
  • Any brand guidelines you already have (logo, colours, fonts, etc.)
  • Examples of websites you like (or don’t like)
  • Key competitors

Don’t worry if you don’t have all of this mapped out yet, we’re here to help guide you through it all.

Do I need to provide the content?

If you’ve already got content, great! If not, we offer content creation as part of the process. We’ll work with you to craft copy that reflects your brand, resonates with your audience, and helps boost SEO from the get-go.

Whether you're providing it yourself or letting us handle it, we’ll always review and refine the copy to make sure it fits seamlessly into the design and structure of the site.

How involved will I be?

We’re big on collaboration. You won’t be left in the dark, but you also won’t be bombarded with jargon or long-winded emails.

We’ll keep you involved at every key stage:

  • Kick-off & discovery – You tell us everything we need to know.
  • Wireframes & UX planning – We map out the user journey and layout.
  • Design phase – We bring your brand to life visually.
  • Development – You relax while we turn designs into a working site.
  • Testing & feedback – You review, we tweak, and polish.
  • Go live – Launch day! 🎉

What about images and photography?

Strong visuals make a massive difference. If you’ve got a bank of images ready, we’ll weave them into the design. If not, we can help source high-quality stock or recommend a trusted local photographer or videographer to capture your business in its best light.

How do you make sure the site works well on phones and tablets?

Every site we build is fully responsive as standard. That means it looks great and functions flawlessly across all devices, from desktops to mobiles to everything in between.

Will I be able to update the site myself?

Absolutely. We build sites using Craft CMS, which gives you full control without the faff. It’s intuitive, secure, and flexible. Want to update your blog, add new services or switch out images? No problem, you’ll have the ability to do it all.

We’ll even give you a walkthrough so you know exactly how it works.

What happens after launch?

Once your site is live, we don’t disappear. We can stick around for ongoing support, training, and digital marketing, whatever you need. From SEO and ads to analytics and performance checks, we’ve got you.

We also offer the iPOP Priority Plan to better support partners who need faster response times. This gets you:

  • Priority Handling - Your website issues, such as downtime or broken forms, will jump to the front of the queue.
  • Critical Craft CMS Updates - Ensuring your website stays secure and up to date.
  • Rapid Issue Resolution - If something goes wrong, we’ll be on it fast.

This plan is ideal if your website is business-critical and you need the reassurance that, should an issue arise, it will be swiftly dealt with.

In short? We handle the heavy lifting, you stay in the loop, and together we create something that doesn’t just look good, but performs like a dream.
