A smarter digital experience 
for Jersey’s financial sector

Introduction

Jersey Resolution and Depositors Compensation Authority approached iPOP Digital as an existing client.

They were looking to evolve their brand and digital presence following their transition from Jersey Resolution Authority (JRA) to Jersey Resolution and Depositors Compensation Authority (JRDCA).  Alongside the rebrand, we were also tasked with creating a completely new brand for the Jersey Bank Depositors Compensation Scheme (JDCS) – a scheme designed to protect depositors’ savings should a bank fail. From strategic branding and UX-led web design through to development in Craft CMS 5, the result is a modern, flexible and user-friendly platform built to support both organisations clearly and confidently.

Evolving one brand and creating another

For JRDCA, we expanded on the existing identity to create a more refined and modern brand system. This included refreshed typography, an evolved logo and an extended colour palette featuring new tones and shades that added clarity and flexibility across digital and printed materials. Alongside this, we developed a completely new identity for JDCS, designed to sit cohesively within the wider organisation while maintaining its own distinct presence. Using custom patterns, infographics and branded visual assets, we created a clear and approachable identity capable of communicating complex information in a simple, engaging way.

Designed for clarity and usability

With a large volume of important public information to present, the website redesign focused heavily on structure, accessibility and user experience. We designed flexible, modular content blocks to ensure key information, quick links, reports, and CTAs could be surfaced clearly throughout the site. Each block can be customised using the relevant brand colour system (JRDCA green or JDCS red), helping users visually distinguish between content areas while maintaining consistency across the platform. Strong UX principles and carefully considered page layouts ensure visitors can quickly and easily navigate complex information.

Flexible development in Craft CMS 5

Built in Craft CMS 5, the platform delivers flexibility, scalability and easy day-to-day management for the internal team. With around 50 pages across the project, we developed a fully modular system, streamlined contact forms and reusable content structures that ensure the website remains easy to manage as it evolves.

As part of the transition from JRA to JRDCA, we also implemented the Retour plugin to seamlessly redirect legacy URLs following the domain change, helping preserve SEO performance and maintain a smooth user experience. Having previously used Craft CMS, the upgrade to Craft CMS 5 has provided the team with an improved editing experience and greater flexibility moving forward.
